Boyles Orthodontics is proud to offer our patients a variety of orthodontic products in order to provide the most advanced and best treatment options available.

For those patients who are “color conscious,” we carry approximately 30 different colored bands. These colored bands can be changed during your regularly scheduled office appointments to please even the most fashion forward. They can be changed to coordinate with school colors, holiday colors or your favorite shades.

Another innovative and state-of-the-art product we use is the SmartClip™ Self-Ligating Appliance System. This revolutionary bracket design is the lowest profile, self-ligating bracket available today. It has a smooth radius surface for enhanced patient comfort and refined aesthetic appearance. The open, clean design allows for improved patient hygiene.

The SmartClip bracket’s self-ligating clip is computer engineered from nickel-titanium, which has an intrinsic memory for shape and force. Its self-ligating clip mechanism secures the archwire in place, yet it is specially calibrated to release the archwire if forces exceed a predetermined level.

With SmartClip Self-Ligating Brackets, archwire changes are fast and simple. The SmartClip bracket does not use sliding closures or rubber rings to retain the wire. Therefore, there are no mechanisms to slide or clog with food particles. Faster archwire changes can mean reduced chair time. The SmartClip Appliance System is designed to dramatically reduce friction, which can result in longer appointment intervals and less patient discomfort.

If you prefer the clear look, ask about Clarity™ Brackets. This uniquely aesthetic treatment features brackets, which are translucent and made out of a ceramic material. These innovative brackets won't stain like some "clear braces."
